Phoenix BioPower forms strategic partnership with Jord AB

Today Jord. AB (“Jord”) and Phoenix BioPower AB (Phoenix) are excited to announce a new strategic partnership to research and develop a joint commercial platform.

Phoenix develops new technology for highly efficient biopower. The process integrates new technology to achieve a radically higher power efficiency of up to 55%. Phoenix works with a vision to create highly effective, renewable, plannable, and scalable power from biomass.

Jord develops and commercializes biofuel for energy that is being cultivated on “marginal land” in Senegal and the Dominican Republic. Jord cultivates C4-grass that can be transformed into fuel with high energy density and simultaneously removes large quantities of carbon dioxide.

Jord and Phoenix have, during 2022 and 2023, explored the possibilities for collaboration in the areas of biofuel, biomass, and renewable energy for markets with a high share of fossil fuels in their energy mix. Through this collaboration, the companies have identified several common areas of interest and mutual benefits of a commercial partnership, wherein Jord’s fuel is utilized in Phoenix’s bio power plants to produce renewable and plannable power.

Through this collaboration, the companies can cooperate to deliver a highly efficient bio power plant as well as a cost-effective and renewable fuel alternative.
